Fibercon A/S has achieved new ownership following a financial reconstruction last week. The company was acquired by private investors. Fibercon will continue to operate from its current facilities in Fårup, Denmark.

Fibercon is known for design, production, development and processing of sandwich panels – items that are sold to a wide range of OEM customers in various segments of the industry such as building construction, transportation/automotive, pharmaceutical clients, the wind industry and a number of industrial customers with requirements for individual solutions in lightweight construction, shielding, insulation and housing.

The new owners plan to increase focus on sales and development in order to extend Fibercon’s core competence and expand customer and product portfolio. The overall plan is to utilize and release the potential in future lightweight panels – one of the first actions will be to add an internal development department. The new owners have taken over all employees and the factory continues production unaffected.

Day-to-day management will be handled in a transitional phase by COO Paw Blanner Kiel and Technical Manager Brian Kristensen who combined have many years of valuable experience at Fibercon.
